Alessandra Amodio (she/her) is an American fine art photographer based in New York City where she is currently a Digital Photo Editor at Travel + Leisure. After graduating with a degree in Photography and Video from School of Visual Arts she has worked at Departures Magazine, Newsweeks Magazine, The Knot World Wide (XO Group) and Kate Ryan Inc. She is a frequent portfolio reviewer with ASMP New York and NYCFotoWorks.
Alessandra’s passion for photo-editing and food styling has shaped her main body of work “The Time We Spend Together,” which focuses on the pre-established gender roles in a classic, immigrant based, Italian/Catholic household.
She is currently working on a Photo Cookbook detailing recipes and photographs that tells a story of her families immigration and the life that has been built, and left behind.
Living by the personal manta that life is sweeter with a glass of limoncello.
