'The Time We Spend Together' is about my very catholic Italian family and all of the very specific rules, roles, and traditions that have been upheld for decades. My recent discovery of the gender roles as well as the extremely important familial roles and how they overlap and intertwine and that they are not just enforced but wanted to be maintained. To show that in these roles and traditions we continue to create something that is everlasting and thrives in all of our homes.
